Looper Privacy Policy

Effective August 28, 2026

The short version: Looper collects no data. None. Everything you record stays on your iPhone, and the app never connects to the internet.

What Looper stores, and where

Your projects — recordings, drum patterns, effect settings, exported songs — are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. Looper has no servers, no accounts, and no cloud sync. Nothing you make ever leaves your iPhone unless you export a song and share it yourself.

Microphone

Looper uses the microphone for two things: recording your loops, and showing a live input-level meter while the recording screen is open so you can check your sound before a take. The meter listens but stores nothing — audio is only ever saved when you record, and only to your device. When you leave the app, the microphone turns off unless a recording you started is still running.

Music library

If you import a song from your Music library, Looper reads only the file you pick and copies it into your project on your device. It does not scan, catalog, or transmit your library.

What Looper does not do

No analytics. No advertising. No tracking. No third-party SDKs. No network requests of any kind. Because the app makes no connections, there is nothing to collect, sell, or share — and no one, including us, can see what you create.

Deleting your data

Deleting a project in the app permanently removes its recordings from your device. Deleting the app removes everything. There is no copy anywhere else.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Looper ever changes any of the above — for example, by adding optional cloud sync — this policy will be updated first, and the app's App Store privacy details will reflect it.
